Enjoy time with other spouses and guests in preparation of the Buckle & Shift Fashion Show. Expert make-up artists will freshen up your make-up and give you tips for every day practice. Have a light lunch and for those that wish to serve as our lovely models for the fashion show, receive tips on walking the runway. Discover more about this clothing line created entirely from antique car upholstery and automotive accessories! Recyclers know that textiles can be the most difficult item in a car to reuse or recycle, but creating high-fashion clothing is a way to use the textiles in an aesthetically pleasing and creative fashion. All designs to be showcased are sourced and recycled from automobiles manufactured from 1953 – 1987. Enjoy and possibly discover a new revenue stream!
JFK & Dallas City Tour ($50) Friday 10:00am - 2:00pm

Enjoy a private, guided whirlwind tour through some of the most recognizable areas of Dallas, that includes a visit to the site of the JFK tragedy. Check out Pioneer Plaza with its larger-than-life bronze sculpture and climb the steps for the best views around; you'll pass the Klyde Warren Park that has plenty of food trucks, fitness classes, live music and more. Get a glimpse of the incredible Arts District, holding museums, parks, shops, and MORE! In fact, the Nasher Sculpture Center is one of the foremost collections of modern sculpture in the world.
You decide - You'll leave this tour tired but with a better understanding and knowledge of this great city. Before returning to the hotel, you'll stop at Trinity Groves, a plethora of restaurants for you to choose from, to enjoy lunch and then return to the Hyatt.

Professional automotive recyclers compete in the marketplace every day and many are considered champions in their local and national communities. Once again, ARA family and friends will gather to recognize our profession's elite.
Join us for Friday evening’s Annual Awards Dinner and Gavel Passing Ceremony as we recognize the leaders in our industry and pass the gavel to our incoming president, David Gold of Standard Auto Wreckers.

Ladies of the Automotive Recycling Association (LARA) Breakfast Saturday 8:00am – 9:30am
We invite all the ladies of ARA to the LARA breakfast. LARA works to:
* Develop a mentoring program to help women advance in the automotive recycling industry.
* Offer education and leadership development opportunities to build skills important for success.
* Provide networking opportunities for women in the automotive recycling industry.
* Create programs designed to attract more women to the industry.
* Encourage a cross-industry exchange of ideas and perspectives on the particular challenges women face.
* Recognize the contributions and achievements of women who are industry leaders.
* Establish a clearinghouse of information and resources for women in the industry.
* Provide a forum for women and men to collaborate on initiatives to recruit, develop and advance women in the industry.

This year’s yard tour will be hosted by TARA Member American Auto Salvage in Ft. Worth. American Auto Salvage President, Barry Rubin's reputation for making things over the top is legendary in Texas. Junior Cooley of Hi-way Auto Inc. in Brownwood, Texas and his infamous cooking team will be providing delicious Texas culinary treats.
For those that want to stay, play and discover more of Ft. Worth, after the yard tour, transportation will carry you to the historic Ft. Worth Stockyards area where you can enjoy shopping, exploring history or maybe even stop in at world-famous Billy Bob’s Texas for live entertainment, dancing, and live pro bull riding. This is your opportunity to discover more about the Texas heritage, hospitality and honky tonks! Please note: For those wishing to visit the Stockyards, bus transportation will take you and will stay on-site for one hour for return to the Hyatt. Afterwards, return transportation will be on your own.

AAA Texas 500 NASCAR Race ($95) Sunday 10:00am - ??
Join us as we venture to the Texas Motor Speedway, departing the Hyatt at 10:00am. ARA has organized a ticket package that includes roundtrip transportation from the Hyatt, a 4th turn race ticket and prior to the race, enjoy networking and incredible eats at the Texas Tailgating area hosted by ARA member Junior Cooley of Hi-Way Auto.
Beginning at 2:00pm, engines will rev and the race begins as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series nears the end of the season. Competition will be fast and furious as drivers try to earn their spot at the top of point standings.
