SuperPile ’21 is being held in at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown in Philadelphia on June 23-25. The theme of the conference is The Spirit of Innovation, showcasing the revolutionary spirit and rich history of Philadelphia. The energy, enthusiasm and spirited personality of the DFI community and our partner organization, ADSC: The International Association of Foundation Drilling are coming together to present this three-day conference on the latest innovations in piling methods and techniques. We are excited to be getting back together in-person in Philadelphia. At the same time, we will be using the technology we mastered in hosting DFI45 as an online conference to make SuperPile ‘21 accessible to a remote audience worldwide.
Case histories, industry driven research and technical advancements will be presented for all aspects of deep foundation piling. Technologies include driven piles, augered cast-in-place and drilled displacement piles, micropiles, marine foundations, testing and evaluation of foundation systems, seismic and lateral loads, drilled shafts, ground improvement (related to piling) and helical piles and tiebacks.
Wednesday, June 23, related DFI committees will hold committee meetings. All are welcome to join.
On Thursday, June 24, plenary sessions will present a Philly-inspired panel discussion highlighting innovations and geotechnical challenges of working in the city, and a broad variety of local, national and international projects and technical topics.
On Friday, June 25, parallel sessions will present detailed coverage of specific technologies, advancements, innovations and challenges in design and construction. Click here for complete program.
