Travel Accommodations
Please feel free to begin booking your travel for this event. Please see below for additional agenda and arrival/departure flight time recommendations.
Flights
We recommend flying into Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), 2400 Aviation Dr, Dallas, TX 75261. Attendees will be responsible for booking their own flights. Flight costs will be covered by MVP. Please utilize your MVP hospital credit card or submit for flight reimbursement through Concur.
MVP will be covering a round trip flight to/from Dallas Fort Worth. Anything outside of that round trip flight will not be covered by MVP. One flight arriving to Dallas, TX and one flight departing from Dallas, TX will be covered by MVP.
Any flights departing from differing airports, or flight departing after Wednesday November 18th, will be covered by the attendee.
- MVP will provide return airport transportation on Tuesday afternoon.
- Arrival Flights: If flying please plan to arrive to DFW by 4pm on Sunday, November 17th if you plan to attend the reception. This will allow sufficient travel time to check in at your hotel prior to the reception. You are also welcome to come directly from the airport to reception with your bags and check in to your hotel following.
- Departure Flights: Please plan to depart from DFW at 3pm or later on Tuesday, November 19th. This will allow for sufficient travel time from the venue following the event back to the airport.
- Ground Transportation: Please plan to utilize Uber for your airport arrival transportation.
- MVP will provide return airport transportation on Wednesday afternoon.

- Distance: Conference hotel is approximately 20 miles or 25 minutes from the airport.
Hotels
We will handle and book your hotel room reservations at the Sheraton Dallas on your behalf based on the check in and check out dates provided in registration. You will not need to contact the hotel regarding bookings. Hotel rooms costs will be covered by MVP. Incidentals will be covered by attendees.
MVP will be covering hotel stays with a check-in date of Sunday, November 17th and a check-out date of Tuesday, November 19th.
Any attendees checking out after Tuesday, November 19th will be covered by the attendee.
Exceptions will be made for hospitals based in Alaska, or with challenging travel hubs or logistics. Please submit a ticket to the MVP Events Team at Events@mvp.freshservice.com.
Additional event reminders, hotel and travel details will be sent out closer to the event date.
Accounting/Reimbursement
Please note, you will be asked to allocate all event and travel costs for the M’Powered Leadership Summit event in Concur when submitting expenses for reimbursement.
When reporting an available expense, you will see a new field above the comment section labeled, “Event Attending”. Please allocate all expenses to M’Powered by selecting the drop down in the “Event Attending” field.
Payroll
Hourly team members will be compensated for their attendance at mandatory M’Powered event sessions. The Event Team will provide all attendees with a Payroll Team spreadsheet for hourly team members to record and submit event attendance time closer to the event.
Processed hours will be provided directly to team members' timesheets within Dayforce.
Salary team members will receive their regular pay and are not paid for additional travel time associated with the summit.

Full Event Location: Sheraton Dallas
- Sunday, November 17th:
- Session: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
- Welcome reception: 7:00pm – 9:00pm
- The welcome reception is not mandatory, but we encourage all to attend.
- Dinner and drinks will be provided.

- General Session: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
- Dinner & Evening Activity: 6:00-10:00pm.
- Dinner and drinks will be provided.
- General Session: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Tuesday, November 19th:
- General session: 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Breakfast and grab and go lunch will be provided.
- Departure Flights: Please plan to depart from DFW at 4pm or later on Tuesday, November 19th. This will allow for sufficient travel time from the venue following the event back to the airport.
