The DFI Middle East Chapter is proud to invite you to the region's leading technical conference in the field of foundation engineering. The fifth edition of the DFIMEC provides an opportunity for the region’s geotechnical engineering practitioners, academics, and suppliers to exchange information and present the latest developments in the field of foundation design and construction.

What You Can Expect

The two-day technical program builds upon the past four events and provides a high-quality technical program on delivering sustainable cost-effective programs.  Current topics and case histories will be presented on ground improvement, deep foundation piling, effective and sustainable design, and deep mixing and QC/QA for grouted elements. Day 3 will host a Student Program where students will be introduced to a day in the life of a geotechnical project.

Who Should Attend

The conference will be of interest to contractors, developers, agencies, designers, consultants, educators and representatives from local, state and central government and public and private sector organizations, providing a forum for discussion and debate on various technical topics and time to interact with other attendees to learn more about potential opportunities to work together.

Registration Fees (inclusive of 5% VAT)

Registration fees include all technical sessions, a digital handout and access to the online proceedings including abstracts, speaker bios and presentation files. 

No refunds are allowed. However, you may transfer your registration to another delegate.  Special circumstances will be considered. 


All registration rates are in US dollars and inclusive of 5% VAT fee. 

U.A.E. residents/businesses must pay VAT. 

Non U.A.E. residents/businesses need to complete, sign and submit a waiver declaration to receive a VAT credit.  Download form here.
