Speaker Bio
Lindsey Thompson is the Professional Development Director and Data Manager for Delaware Community Schools, where she bridges the gap between instruction and information systems to support data-informed decision-making across the district. Before stepping into district leadership, Lindsey spent over a decade in the classroom, teaching English and social studies at all levels—from remedial support to AP and dual credit—in both Minnesota and Indiana.
She holds licensure in Language Arts, Geographical Perspectives, Government and Citizenship, Historical Perspectives, and Computer Education. Lindsey earned her B.S. in English and Speech Communication Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and an M.Ed. in Reading (PK–12) from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
In addition to her district role, Lindsey is an active voice in the Indiana educational data community. She currently serves as president of UNITE, a statewide organization connecting district data reporters with the Indiana Department of Education; secretary of the Indiana PowerSchool Users Group (IPSUG); and board member of the Indiana EdData Alliance.
A passionate advocate for clear, ethical, and effective data use in education, Lindsey brings a unique perspective that blends technical know-how with a deep understanding of teaching and learning.
