Celebrating our 15th year, the Pittsburgh Golf Outing benefits the DFI Educational Trust's scholarship funds at the University of Pittsburgh and Penn State University.
Since 2006, this Golf Outing has raised over $480,000 in net proceeds for the DFI Educational Trust. Part of these proceeds have endowed the DFI Trust Scholarship Fund at Carnegie Mellon University. The Carnegie Mellon fund has awarded over $112,000 in scholarships since 2012. The Pitt and Penn Funds made their first awards ($2500 each) in 2020
Leading this year’s Fundraising Event as Chairman is Roy Kern, Jr., CEO of Equipment Corporation of America (ECA) where he has worked for over 30 years. Roy is a long-time member of DFI and has supported this outing since its inception.

All payments are net 30 days from the date of registration and payable in full in advance of the Golf Outing.
As this is a charitable event, we refrain from issuing refunds. Substitution of golfers is permitted.
When you support the DFI Educational Trust with your tax deductible contributions, you are helping young students discover the rewards of a career in the deep foundations industry. The DFI Educational Trust is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Images of individuals may be captured by the Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) and the DFI Educational Trust during events/activities organized and hosted by DFI using still photography, video or any other medium. DFI reserves the right to use such images on DFI's websites, in Deep Foundations magazine, in newsletters and/or other publicity material. By registering and/or participating in a DFI event/activity, the persons whose images are captured during such an event consent to the use of said images by DFI as described above.
