About the ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey and the DFI Educational Trust

About the ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey
Founded in 1994, the ACE name stands for Architecture, Construction and Engineering. The ACE program stands for mentoring high school students and inspiring them to pursue careers in design and construction. It’s now the construction industry's fastest-growing high school mentoring program. The ACE engages sponsors and volunteer mentors to expose students to real-world opportunities and financially supports each student's continued success through scholarships and grants. It’s a unique partnership among industry professionals, architects, interior designers, landscape architects, mechanical, structural, electrical, environmental and civil engineers, construction managers, college and university representatives, who work together to attract young people to their professions. ACE of New Jersey mentors students throughout the state.

About the DFI Educational Trust
The Deep Foundations Institute Educational Trust is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2006 by the Deep Foundations Institute (an industry association) as its charitable arm. The mission of the Trust is to support and encourage individuals in the fields of study related to the deep foundation industry by providing scholarships and opportunities to meet and work with deep foundation industry leaders. The Trust manages several scholarship programs funded by endowments, donations, and fundraising events. Eligibility requirements vary from program to program but in general, scholarships are awarded to full-time undergraduate students in excellent academic standing, who demonstrate financial need, and who are pursuing studies in fields such as civil, geotechnical or construction engineering.
