August 5, 2026 | Hyatt Regency Burlingame

Last year, more than 750 members of Team Sutter came together for our first virtual Inclusion and Belonging Summit, far exceeding expectations and affirming something we already know to be true: when people feel seen, heard, and valued, our organization is stronger.

This year, we are proud to bring that momentum forward with our first in‑person Inclusion and Belonging Summit, welcoming 600 team members from across Sutter Health for a shared day of learning, dialogue, and connection. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 5th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Burlingame, CA

Inclusion and belonging are not separate from our work, they are foundational to how we live our mission of taking care of patients first and people always. When we invest in one another, we create the conditions for better care, stronger teams, and deeper trust with the communities we serve.

An Experience Shaped by Team Sutter

More than 1,200 teammates shared their perspectives on what they most want to see and experience at this Summit. Their input directly influenced the agenda, ensuring this gathering reflects the voices, experiences, and priorities of our people.

The day will include:

  • Thought‑provoking external speakers
  • Meaningful conversations and shared learning
  • Opportunities to build relationships across roles, departments, and divisions

Most importantly, it will create space for connection, reflection, and belonging, grounded in the Sutter Way.
