After earning my bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville I went on to be a chemist here in Indianapolis.  After 2 years I got into education as a member of the Indianapolis Teaching Fellows earning my Masters in Teaching from Marion University.  I have worked as a science and math teacher at several high schools and middle schools (Emmerich Manual HS, Decatur Township School for Excellence with MSD Decatur, Southport Middle School with Perry Township, and Dennis Middle School with Richmond Community Schools).  I am in my ninth year in education and third as the Instructional Coach at Dennis Middle School. As coach I realized the importance of AI in assisting underserved students and nontraditionally trained teachers.  I am a MagicSchool Pioneer (and also let ChatGPT help design my workouts).
