Chetrice Mosley-Romero is a seasoned cybersecurity leader and trailblazer with a proven track record in public service, strategic policy development, and cross-sector collaboration. As Ice Miller’s first Senior Cyber Security Advisor, she employs her understanding of the full cybersecurity ecosystem to help clients strengthen their security technical and business practices through the development of high-caliber cybersecurity programs including governance, risk and compliance (GRC) initiatives; crisis management; cyber incident response planning, training, and exercise development; employee cybersecurity awareness programs; and more.
With extensive experience in both government and private sector initiatives, Chetrice offers unique capabilities and perspectives when advising organizations on how to enhance their cybersecurity posture, navigate state and federal regulatory challenges, and build resilient infrastructures. Her understanding of regulatory constraints and her collaborative approach to cross-disciplinary work makes her a trusted partner to clients, colleagues, and industry peers. Chetrice holds an active Top Secret (CI) clearance, positioning her to support clients engaged in national security-sensitive industries or federally regulated environments.
Prior to joining Ice Miller, Chetrice served as a Cybersecurity Advisor & State Coordinator for the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), where she led response efforts for cyber incidents at local, state, regional, and national levels. She also served as Indiana’s first Cybersecurity Program Director, where she was the first woman in Indiana and nationally fully dedicated to developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for an entire state. In that role, she spearheaded the creation and implementation of two comprehensive statewide cybersecurity strategies, aligning public and private sector stakeholders under a unified vision.
