How much does the conference cost?

Registration for HECC 2025 is $400.00 for a three day registration and $350.00 for two days. Please note - HECC does not offer a single day registration for the 2025 conference.

I am an attendee speaker, will I receive a discount or gift?

  • 1 hour speaking = $50 off
  • 2 hours speaking = $100 off
  • 3 hours speaking = $150 off
  • 4+ hours speaking = free conference
  • All speakers who are attending the conference will be eligible for the educational tool. If you are attending for your presentation(s) only, you will not be eligible for the tool.
  • These discounts are only for the MAIN presenter registered for a given session. Only one discount will be given per session. If someone is helping you present, they will not receive a discount or a free tool.

I registered but can no longer attended. Who do I contact?

Please email Jay Blackman at jblackman@hecc.k12.in.us to cancel your registration. If you have already paid, a refund check will be mailed to you as long as you cancel before November 1.

What is the educational tool and how do I get it?

The tool is a gift for registered attendees. Any compensation, premium, bonus, or product earned as a result of the purchase of goods or services by the governmental unit becomes the property of the governmental unit per the Accounting and Uniform Compliance Manual for Indiana Public School Corporations from the State Board of Accounts.

My registration was never confirmed. Am I registered?

If you did not receive an email with your workshop information and password first check your spam filter. If it is not there it is likely that you are not registered. If you do believe you are registered and cannot find your confirmation email you can try requesting your Sign-In password at the link below:

I need to change workshops. How do I do that?

Use the password that was sent to you when you registered to log back onto the conference page and edit your registration. As long as there is space in a workshop you can make a change.

Why do I need to attach a Purchase Order to my registration form?

A purchase order from your school corporation will guarantee your place in a workshop.  You must attach a copy of the PO to your registration form in order to submit the form.  Prompt payment is required to keep your registration active and ensure your spot in course(s).

When is the last day to register?

Registration will remain open as long as sessions are available.

The workshop I want is full. Is there a waiting list?

We do not have a waiting list. Please check the registration site to see if openings occur and check at the registration desk after you complete conference check-in.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes! Registration by credit card is the preferred method and is fast and easy! You will see that option after you confirm your registration

How about meals?

Your registration fee includes a continental breakfast and buffet lunches on Wednesday and Thursday. There are no lunches on Friday. During registration, you have the option to select NO LUNCH. By making this selection, you understand that you will not be in the daily lunch count and you will not receive a lunch ticket. This means it is your responsibility to purchase your own lunch at a local restaurant.

HECC will not discount your attendance fee by selecting NO LUNCH.

The buffet style lunches on Wednesday and Thursday will feature vegetarian and vegan options.

Is there an ATM nearby?

An ATM is located in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza. There are also numerous banks within walking distance and an ATM in the Circle Centre Mall.

Is there Internet connectivity available?

Yes, wireless Internet is available for attendee and exhibitor use and is provided free to our attendees by our sponsors.

Where do I mail payment to?

PLEASE NOTE: The address for mailing checks and payment has changed. A number of schools are still sending checks to previous Registration Chairs. This slows the process of getting your registration completed for the year. Please make sure that your accounting department has the below address listed for paying for HECC conferences in the future. Mail checks to:

How do I pay for multiple attendees?

While registering as an attendee, in the Review section, you will be able to register and pay for other individuals. Make sure in the Payment Section, you add the individual's email as the "Assistant's Email" so they receive an email of their registration confirmation.
