Professional Development Hours
An increasing number of professional engineering licensing organizations require members to pursue professional development on a formal basis. ASCE is pleased to provide New York State approved PDHs for this technical program. The number of PDH hours is estimated at five (5).

The registration fee for Speakers is complimentary and only the first speaker may have the registration fee waived. Additional speakers should register at their applicable registration level. Information/Materials Required
The following items are due to DFI by Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, or sooner. Please access the required forms and reference files by clicking on the links below, completing them, and uploading them to the DFI Sharefile.
- Confirmation of Presentation Title
- Short Summary of Presentation (one paragraph)
- Short Biography of Each Presenter (one paragraph)

Please submit the following items by Wednesday, February 20, 2019, or sooner.
- Draft of PowerPoint Presentation (content must be substantial for PDH review)
- 5 Quiz-Type Questions about the content of the presentation (multiple choice, fill-in the blank, etc.)
- Presentation Release Form
- Audio/Video Requirements Form
You may continue to update your presentation and submit the final version by Wednesday, March 13, 2019. After this date you must bring your presentation to the Speaker Preparation Meeting the morning of your presentation using a flash drive. The staff will load it to the seminar laptop.
Please be aware of the importance of limiting commercial aspects in your presentation and to focus on technical features. DFI and COPRI reserve the right to later not accept a presentation that is too commercial. Additionally, unless your organization is a not-for-profit entity, corporate logos may appear on the first and last presentation slide only. Reference the Presentation Guidelines.

Cancellations must be made in writing by mail, email or fax.
Refunds for Registration will not be issued after Monday, February 25, 2019. However, you may transfer your registration to another DFI Member.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND EMAIL COMMUNICATION
Images of individuals may be captured by the Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) or Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute of ASCE-Met Section (COPRI), during events/activities organized and hosted by DFI and COPRI using still photography, video or any other medium. DFI and COPRI reserve the right to use such images on the DFI and COPRI website, in Deep Foundations Magazine, in newsletters and/or other publicity material. By registering and/or participating in this event/activity, the persons whose images are captured during such an event consent to the use of said images as described above.
Registrants also agree to receive email from DFI and COPRI relating to its events, membership, and publications as well as newsletters, updates, and other announcements.
