Chris Scheumann, former emergency department traveler, educator and trauma specialist will provide the attendees with an educational and emotional experience reviewing some amazing stories of recovery from severe traumatic injuries. This session will present actual trauma cases illustrating quality care of severely injured patients from prehospital care to acute trauma center care through rehabilitation. In an effort to immerse the participant in the case, actual 911 audio, scene pictures and videos and a detailed timeline of care will be shared. Traveling healthcare professionals of all disciplines will find relevance to their profession in reviewing the trauma care in these cases.
