Date & Time
Wednesday, November 5, 2025, 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Description

As accessibility requirements and user expectations evolve, low-energy operators are becoming an increasingly important part of door hardware solutions. This session explores the current and emerging codes impacting low-energy operator installations, highlights practical applications across various facility types, and uncovers how installation and service agreements can drive added value. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of prevailing building codes, typical operator features, and how to match specific operator solutions to building needs. Special attention will be given to the opportunities available to Contract Hardware Distributors (CHDs) in owning the full scope of the operator opening—from specification to service.
