James Stokes is the Director of Corporate Training at Hager Companies. A third generation architectural ironmonger, James has been actively involved in the door hardware world for over 35 years. Having been based in the U.S. as well as overseas, James has first-hand knowledge of multiple markets, including Asia, Middle-East, Europe, Canada and Latin America. In addition, his extensive experience with electrified and electronic access control has allowed him to better understand the evolving relationship between Division 8 and 28.

James was also involved in the creation of Hager University, a free online educational portal that offers over 65 individual door and hardware courses for all members of the hardware community.
