June 1 & 3 Workshops Overview

On June 1 and 3, industry leaders will present keynote lectures, overviews of technical papers and workshop-style discussions on the State of Practice of Deep Mixing Internationally and Lessons Learned, and Material Properties, respectively. 

The first conference day June 1 will start with internationally recognized specialists from around the world presenting keynote lectures on June 1 highlighting the trends in design, research, and execution in deep mixing technology over the past 25 years in Europe, Scandinavia and the United States. 

On June 3, keynote lectures will present the latest research and practices for controlling the construction and laboratory parameters required to create stabilized soil with the required properties for geotechnical construction and optimize design parameters.

Workshop chairs will lead overview presentations on the technical papers in each main topic to allow attendees to grasp the main findings of the proceedings and their impact on deep mixing practice and guide attendees to the recordings in the online conference system.  Structured discussion will end each conference day highlighting the main trends and topics and suggesting future work and focus areas.

Deep Foundations Institute provides general professional development hours for conference delegates. The number of hours provided for this 6 day conference is approximately 15.5. PDH certificates will be populated and accessed through the online platform. Additional information will be available each day of the conference during the opening remarks and tutorial.
