Gasoline Distribution Air Emissions Rules: Preparing for 2027 Compliance

Sweeping changes to air emission standards for gasoline terminals are scheduled to take effect in 2027. New emission testing and monitoring requirements will affect gasoline terminals, bulk plants, and pipeline facilities. These changes include more stringent vapor processing requirements for truck and rail loading racks, as well as new requirements for leak detection and storage tank inspection.

This one-day course will provide an overview of the upcoming regulatory changes and the challenges they may present for affected facilities. Participants will explore key areas of interpretation and discuss practical strategies for meeting the new standards. Discussion will cover the equipment, technology, and resources facilities may need to prepare.

ILTA will provide an update on its advocacy efforts to improve the clarity, fairness, and effectiveness of the standards, along with insight into how ongoing EPA reconsideration efforts could affect facility planning.
