Stephanie is solution oriented, combined with her innovative nature she saw the need to offer leadership delves-mentor and continuing education for those who dedicate themselves to caring for others. Stephanie’s engaging, down-to-earth, practical, high-energy presentations leaves audiences wanting more. She started her career in nursing as an emergency room nurse and has spent over 17 years in leadership positions from Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director to Director of Nursing for various post-acute care models and is the leading expert in RN Delegation in the state of Texas, currently sitting on the advisory panel for University of Texas Center for Excellence in Aging Services and Long Term Care. Stephanie is currently an adjunct professor at Galen College of Nursing teaching the future BSN students. She earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Austin Community College, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Masters in Nurse Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a current Doctoral of Nursing Practice student with Galen College of Nursing. A deep passion formed for the geriatric population, and she has spent her career working in various long-term, assisted living, memory care, hospice and home health. She consistently developed programs that reduced re-admission rates, created an understanding for utilizing RN delegation, developed a leadership program, and fast became the go-to-person for better standards of care and regulations expert. She is passionate about education; both receiving it and teaching.
