Chris Mahen has been Chief Operating Officer for Legend Senior Living since 2015. He has worked in the Senior Living Industry since 2004 having served in various Operations roles for in the past 21 years managing from 8 building portfolios to 130 building portfolios.
Chris serves on both the LeadingAge Colorado Board of Directors and Texas Assisted Living Association Board. In addition, he has been a member of Argentum’s Chief Operating Officer Round Table since 2016 and is a former chair of the Oklahoma Assisted Living Association, having served on their Board from 2004-2007. He has been involved in association lobbying and advocacy days in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida as well as in Washington, DC. He received the Excellence in Health Care Award in Kansas in 2021.
