Demodex blepharitis is a common but often overlooked condition that can have a significant impact on ocular surface health. This course will cover the biology of Demodex mites, how they impact the lids, lashes, and ocular surface, as well as specific signs and symptoms that allow for diagnosis of Demodex blepharitis. Different treatment and management strategies for the condition including prescription drops, lid hygiene, and advanced in-office procedures will also be discussed.
