Charlotte Perkins is the Corporate Development Officer for the University of Virginia Health System. Charlotte joined the Health System in November of 2015. Charlotte is responsible for the planning and execution of a wide range of strategies to meet specific organizational objectives. This includes developing strategic alliances, and establishing relationships with strategic business partners. Charlotte launched the BeWell initiative for UVA. She has also led our Strategic Ambulatory work as well as led the RFP process for our GPO.

Prior to joining the University of Virginia Health System in November of 2015, Charlotte Perkins was the Vice President of Marketing, Public Relations and Business Development for Bon Secours Virginia Health System.

Charlotte has held senior leadership positions – moving high profile corporations and health systems forward in all aspects of business, regulatory compliance, communications and marketing – for more than 20 years. She attended the University of Kentucky and UNC Flagler.

In 2012-13 Charlotte led the team that orchestrated the unprecedented deal between Bon Secours, the City of Richmond and the Washington Redskins. The relationship resulted in the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center, completing one of the most significant relationships between an integrated health care system and an NFL franchise in the country today.
