Description

If ever faced with a life-threatening situation, you’ll want to be prepared, calm, and effective. Captain Iggy Rosales, a fire captain and critical care paramedic with the Metro New Orleans Fire Department for over 22 years, and now an emergency room registered nurse, provides this practical course that will have you ready to handle nearly any such situation. What would you do if you found someone who is unresponsive or witnessed someone who suddenly became unresponsive? Would you panic? Would you know what to do? Do you know the legal consequences of your actions or inaction? Or worse yet, what if it happens in your home or office? Attend this hands-on seminar to learn the latest information on effectively providing emergency help in serious and life-threatening situations. This course will review medical emergencies, medications, laws, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to help keep you calm and effective in practically any emergency situation in the office, out in public, or at home.
