ITEC Keynote Speaker Announced!
Rich Kramer to be Keynote Speaker for 2018 ITEC

Wed., Sept. 12 11:10am – 12:00pm
BF Goodrich/Bridgestone Firestone Room, John S. Knight Center

Goodyear chairman, CEO and president Richard Kramer will be the keynote speaker for the 2018 ITEC.   Kramer’s topic is “Miles Ahead – Tires & the New Mobility Ecosystem.”  He will discuss how changes in consumer transportation preferences and rapid advances in technology are creating a new world of transportation.  Kramer will use the acronym FACEFleets, Autonomous vehicles, Connected vehicles and Electric vehicles—to give ITEC attendees an easy way to think about the new mobility ecosystem he describes, and where he thinks change must come in each.
Kramer was named Goodyear’s president in 2007 and CEO in 2010.  Later the same year, the firm’s Board of Directors named him chairman. He joined the firm in 2000 as vice president of corporate finance, before serving as VP of the company’s North American business from 2002-03. As executive VP and chief financial officer from 2004-07, he was instrumental in helping restructure Goodyear’s debt and improve its capital structure.
Under Kramer’s leadership, Goodyear has been among the World’s Most Admired Companies in Fortune Magazine’s annual rankings. In 2014 and 2015, Goodyear was the world’s Most Admired Company in the motor vehicle parts industry and in 2017 was the world’s Most Admired tire maker for the fifth straight year. During Kramer’s CEO tenure, Goodyear also has been named one of America’s most reputable companies and a top company for leaders.
