Dr. Maruthi Devarakonda is a senior engineering manager for emerging technologies at Baker Hughes where he leads US external funding and strategic engagement in decarbonization/energy transition space. He has 20+ years of experience in emissions abatement, design of hydrogen storage systems and digital twins. Maruthi holds 40 patents (26 US, 14 EU) and has published in 30+ peer-reviewed publications. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
