Nathan's experience includes nearly 10 years in the UAS industry and over 20 years as a management consultant in strategy and operations for Fortune 500 companies globally. Nathan founded UASidekick to meet the needs of early-adopter drone pilots to fly safely, manage their operations, and to obtain controlled airspace authorizations quickly and easily. After the acquisition of UASidekick by AirWise Solutions, Nathan took on the position of President at AirWise, where he continues his passion of enabling safe and efficient airspace as the industry moves towards true universal traffic management (UTM). Nathan was educated at Brown University, Georgetown University and the Institute of d’Etudes Politiques. He is certified in as an FAA Part 61 Private Pilot, FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, USPA Skydiver and USPPA Power Paraglider. He is an original member of the FAA Unmanned Aircraft Safety Team (Drone Safety Team), NASA’s UTM Data Exchange Working Group, the FAA UAS in Controlled Airspace Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC), and SIA Public Safety and Autonomous Security Robotics Working Groups. Nathan lives in Boulder, CO and enjoys skiing, sailing, scuba diving and coaching lacrosse in his free time.
