Federico Martinelli (PhD), is Co-founder and CEO of TALPA, an ETH Zürich spin-off developing contactless corrosion-sensing technology for reinforced-concrete infrastructure. He has spent more than 13 years on the corrosion of reinforced concrete — one of a handful of people worldwide working at this depth on the problem — and co-founded TALPA to make subsurface corrosion data a routine part of every inspection.
