Mike O’Shea is a retired Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) professional and currently serves as the Ambassador Program Manager for DRONERESPONDERS, a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in public safety.
During his tenure with the FAA, Mr. O’Shea supported aviation safety, regulatory compliance, and the integration of emerging technologies, including unmanned aircraft systems, into the National Airspace System. Since retiring, he has continued to support the public safety community through his work with DRONERESPONDERS.
As Ambassador Program Manager, he leads outreach and engagement efforts, building partnerships across federal, state, and local agencies while supporting the growth of UAS programs nationwide. He is a strong advocate for safe, coordinated, and effective drone operations in emergency response and public safety mission
