I started my career as an ELL TA at Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation in Columbus, Indiana, then moved into the classroom as an ELL teacher before making a pivot into technology. I've worked my way through building tech, tech support management, and now serve as Assistant Director of Technology Operations at BCSC. I came up through the district I work in, and I've seen technology a lot of different angles. I'm passionate about building strong teams and functional systems, and I've learned most of what I know by doing it wrong first. I believe the best technology leaders are the ones who remember what it felt like to be a teacher, a student, or a frustrated end user.
