Everyone's chasing prompt technique, and prompt technique has a low ceiling. The people getting real value from these tools share something else: they know what a good answer looks like before they see one, they catch the output that's confident and wrong, and they can tell finished work from work that's merely formatted. Those are old skills. Judgment, skepticism, taste, knowing which question to ask. AI didn't create the need for them, it just raised the price.
