In this hands-on, technical session, you’ll learn how I use AI to do more than answer questions—I use it to build working software. As AI has evolved, so have my skills and the ease with which these tools can turn an idea into a practical solution. And when I say anyone can do this, I mean anyone, regardless of previous software-development experience.
I’ll share how I created real-world solutions for schools, including a license-plate recognition system for student pickup, Chrome extensions, trouble-ticket and inventory systems, student assessment and reporting tools, administrative dashboards, a digital Hall of Fame, and an online forms and registration system fully integrated with PowerSchool SIS. I have also developed Google integrations that simplify Google Classroom management, PowerSchool customizations with near-perfect accuracy, and tools that analyze data from nearly every district system. Whether it is Active Directory, Meraki API, Google APIs, PowerSchool, databases, or APIs, if you can connect to it, there is a good chance AI can help you build something useful with it.
