The statistical programming language R is a powerful tool for wrangling and combining data sets, creating publications, and constructing visualizations. At Muncie Community Schools, we have used this tool to create individual reading plans, end of year data books, and reports for our community partners. We have also used R to construct workflows for reporting and dashboard updates. During this hands-on session, I will introduce you to the basics of R programming and provide resources to assist you once you leave the session. To get the most out of this session, you should have R and R Studio installed on your computer.
