Matt Modlin is the Director of Technology for the School City of Mishawaka and a highly engaged leader in K-12 educational technology. With an early passion for problem-solving through computers and firsthand experience as a STEM teacher, Matt understands the critical role technology plays in student engagement and achievement across all content areas.
His leadership in Mishawaka has been instrumental in bridging the digital divide, most notably through the successful implementation of a district-wide 1:1 device program for over 5,000 students. Crucially, Matt championed initiatives to ensure equitable access beyond the school day, including providing at-home cellular hotspots and establishing free internet connectivity in several Mishawaka city parks.
