Speaker Bio
Tanika Kinartail began her exciting journey in the field of education in 2007. She started as an elementary classroom teacher before transitioning into a school leadership role, as an assistant principal, in 2014. Tanika earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University-Bloomington and received her educator license as an Elementary/Intermediate Generalist in 2007. In 2011, she earned a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership & Management from Indiana University-Bloomington, where she also earned a K-12 Building Principal license. She currently works at the Central Indiana Education Service Center in the Administrative Supports Department as a Professional Learning Specialist. She provides innovative, relevant, and engaging professional support to classroom teachers, teacher leaders, and administrators. Her areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: Teacher Evaluation, Professional Learning Communities, Multilingual Learner Support, Women’s Leadership and new administrator support. Tanika also serves as an adjunct faculty instructor teaching pre-service teachers at Ivy Tech Community College. She enjoys eating at a variety of restaurants, weightlifting, spending time with her husband and two daughters.
