Speaker Bio
My name is Samantha Wilsker, and I'm excited to be entering my 14th year in education. In my current role as a K-12 Digital Learning and Assessment Generalist, I focus on directly supporting teachers in the PLC processes of assessment creation and data analysis, grounded in the belief that their expertise is paramount. My aim is to provide tools and strategies that amplify the incredible work our teachers are already doing, with the goal of giving them more time to focus on instruction and less on data compilation.
My varied background, including years in the classroom and experience as a technology coach, provides a strong foundation for this work. This includes spearheading our ongoing district-wide implementation of Mastery Connect as our primary K-12 assessment platform, managing timelines, and delivering sustainable training and support.
I collaborate with teams to streamline PLC workflows, empowering teachers in data analysis and instructional adjustments. Additionally, I support the development of high-quality, standards-aligned assessments and deliver targeted professional development to meet educators' needs. I also partner with administrators, coaches, and curriculum teams to explore innovative integration strategies and empower data-informed decision-making for improved student outcomes.
My commitment to prioritizing student learning is the bedrock of my practice, built upon a strong understanding of PLC principles and a proven track record of fostering growth and positive relationships.
