Jonathan Winslow is the Director of Elementary Education at MSD of Steuben County, where he is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and effective learning environment for students. In this role, he provides comprehensive support to teachers, guiding them in the development of curriculum maps, evaluating existing curricula for effectiveness and alignment, creating robust assessments, implementing innovative instructional strategies, and providing personalized coaching to enhance their pedagogical skills. Jonathan is currently pursuing his Ed.S and Ed.D in Educational Leadership at Ball State University, further deepening his expertise in educational administration and leadership.
His career in education is marked by a diverse range of experiences, including serving as a classroom teacher, technology coordinator, instructional coach, and assistant principal. This varied background has provided him with a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing educators today, allowing him to effectively support teachers and administrators in their efforts to improve student outcomes. Jonathan is an active participant in shaping educational practices at the state level, serving on numerous Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) cadres and committees. He is a speaker and has presented at both local and national conferences on a variety of topics, including mathematics education, SoR Aligned Instruction, Writing, and the effective integration of technology in the classroom. His presentations are known for their practical application and insightful perspectives, offering educators valuable tools and strategies to implement in their classrooms.
