In this session we will describe wireless Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) that provide LMR, FirstNet, and cellular coverage – with the added ability to connect panic buttons and AI technology. These integrated systems support rapid emergency response and deliver up-to-date situational awareness information to first responders and onsite personnel such as school resource officers and administrators. The presentation and discussion will include basic DAS architecture, installation, and testing protocols as well as insights from school leaders who have deployed systems.
