Diane has over 38 years of experience in areas of resiliency, environmental, transportation and land use planning. Her primary focus is in the areas of vulnerability/risk assessments, adaptation plans, resilience project development, environmental review, and infrastructure adaptation. Throughout her career she has assisted communities in developing an integrated approach to comprehensive, collaborative solutions complemented by focused policy and funding recommendations. Her training as a certified flood plain manager, and geologist combined with experience in growth management, and local government comprehensive planning in Florida provides her with a unique understanding of both urban and rural resilience issues, serving as a valuable resource in assisting local leadership and policymakers in adopting resilient solutions that prepare and protect their communities now and in the future.
