Dean Attridge is Vice President of Solutions Engineering for Volatus Aerospace Group. Dean served in the British Military for thirty-two years, flying Lynx, Apache and MQ-9 Reaper, on multiple operational tours. Dean was a Commissioned Executive Officer and Flight Instructor, managing complex programs and introducing new equipment into service for both British Army and later the Royal Air Force. His final tour was on exchange with the USAF, where he was an MQ-9 Reaper instructor with Evaluator Status (SEFE).
As a civilian, Dean has implemented complex BVLOS UAS programs, building a solid relationship with the FAA, including the first BVLOS COA for a law enforcement agency. He is considered an expert in aerial intelligence and real-time situational awareness technology solutions. Dean is our specialist in providing program management, guidance, and solutions for complex UAS programs.
