Ade is Senior Director and Principal Program Manager in Microsoft’s Research Division (MSR). He leads research Incubation in the MSR Accelerator group, working with researchers and scientists in the intersections of Science, Technology, Business and Societal research. He’s the leader of the Embodied AI Working Group at Microsoft- a group of interdisciplinary researchers working on Cognitive AI and General Purpose Robotics. With over 20 years in the industry, he’s worked in various leadership roles spanning embodied Artificial Intelligence, robotics, drones, product, research and business strategy.
He’s a technical member of the IEEE – Cogniive Robotics committee, the Neuro-symbolic AI Interest Group at the Alan Turing institute, and the ASTM F45 – Cmte on Legged Robotics & Autonomous Systems. He graduated from Morgan State University with a Computer Science degree, Masters in Technology from Columbia University, and received his Artificial Intelligence training from MIT.
