Mr. Gaudeau has studied the various tasks that have to be performed by a dismantler and discovered it’s possible to improve performance by more than 20%.  Now’s the time for this sector to renew its way of working to improve the organization of the plant, the process, the training of workers - tasks should be balanced in an efficient way reducing the non-added value - a “lean manufacturing” approach.  It’s also possible to reduce costs by using tools and equipment that will help workers, reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders and improve productivity. 

Mr. Gaudeau will share ideas and strategies to increase efficiencies and workflows inside the automotive recycling industry which have allowed him to design, manufacture and operate a dis-assembly line that dismantles one car every 20 minutes in France.
