SWE and Gen Ed staff (teacher, para, related service provider) will learn the importance of using alternate communication strategies for the academic and social needs of students with complex communication needs. Participants will have hands-on practice using AAC devices for an academic activity. The strategies are applicable to students in all grade levels. Participants will increase familiarity and proficiency with a variety of AAC devices to implement in the classroom.
