Mr. Kuo leads Haven Tower Group.
With over 25 years of experience in PR, corporate communications and marketing for financial services firms, his work encompasses both ongoing brand elevation campaigns as well as support for transactional, regulatory and other special situations.
Before launching Haven Tower in late 2011, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Public Relations at LPL Financial, one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing wealth management enterprises.
At LPL, he led the company's public relations strategy and execution while acting as its principal media spokesperson. He served as a key architect of the company’s public positioning in its multi-billion-dollar initial public offering on the NASDAQ in 2010. Additionally, Mr. Kuo launched LPL’s inaugural RIA Marketing and Communications Support Program to help newly formed LPL-affiliated RIA firms drive accelerated growth.
Prior to that, Mr. Kuo was a Partner at Kekst & Company, a leading, New York City-based global public relations firm (now Kekst CNC). Over the course of nearly a decade at Kekst, he developed and implemented strategic communications and marketing communications programs for firms in the wealth management, multi-family office and asset management industries.
He currently serves on the Advisory Board of Surge Ventures, a venture studio focused on data governance technology start-ups for the wealth management sector, as well as Essential Edge, a consultancy specializing in outsourced compliance solutions for wealth management businesses.
Mr. Kuo earned a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude and phi beta kappa, in History and East Asian Studies with Departmental Honors in both majors from Yale University. He has also completed the Corporate Governance Program at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
