Brian Carter is a financial services technology executive focused on modernizing the operational backbone of broker-dealers and RIAs. Over 25 years, he has built and led teams delivering platforms for onboarding and account data, workflow automation, commission processing, and compliance and surveillance—along with the implementation and integration of key vendor systems. He began his career building a commission processing system, which shaped his focus on practical automation that improves accuracy, controls, and scale. He’s especially interested in ways AI and automation can reduce friction, improve data quality, and strengthen controls across front-, middle-, and back-office workflows. Brian holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
When he’s not immersed in technology and operations, he’s usually doing a few math problems for fun while his three Great Danes call it a night.
