Colleen Bell joined Cambridge in 2006 following her experience as a securities examiner for the Securities and Exchange Commission. Today, she is part of the Office of the CEO and serves as president for the firm’s Innovation and Experience division. Bell is also a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Council. Her focus is on driving associate engagement and financial professional satisfaction, while advancing and discovering new ways to meet ongoing needs.
Bell has oversight of a number of the firm’s service teams, including Products and Technology Solutions, Strategy Planning and Innovation, Service Experience and Specialized Service Teams, Executive Administration, and Internal and External Education. Prior to her current role as president, she served as Cambridge’s executive vice president of operations and chief fiduciary service officer.
Bell received ThinkAdvisor’s ‘Luminaries With Heart’ award (2024)1 and InvestmentNews’s ‘Allyship Champion of the Year’ award (2023)2, and has been included in ThinkAdvisor’s ‘IA 25’ list3 of influential individuals in financial services. She is also an Executive Sponsor of Cambridge’s Commitment to Inclusion and Community of Women. Bell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems from the University of Illinois College of Business and holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses.
