This panel will address the shift in litigation strategies by the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association (“PIABA”) given the ongoing bull market and recent arbitration rulings reflecting the same. The Panel will also address various insurance and investment products that are drawing scrutiny and interest by PIABA. The Panel will further discuss the change in damages philosophies by the claimants in customer cases in recent years and recent adverse arbitration awards.
