Recently retired from her role as a Detective Sergeant for the Wappingers Falls Police Department, she led criminal investigations, was a member of the county’s Field Intelligence Group and collaborated with federal and state agencies on cases- including receiving a Congressional Commendation for lead investigator on a mass casualty incident in 2023. Throughout her career, Jennifer served in specialized roles such as School Resource Officer, Juvenile Officer, D.A.R.E. Instructor, and ALERRT Civilian Active Shooter Response Instructor reflecting her deep commitment to school safety and community-focused policing. She has also supervised the domestic violence unit, created community outreach programs, and participated in child safety initiatives, earning multiple commendations for leadership, innovation, and public service.

Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of New Haven and is currently a Business Development Representative for Townsteel, Inc. – working in the school security solutions division. In this role, she works directly with school districts, safety specialists, and industry partners to address real-world challenges with practical, code-compliant security solutions.
