Bill Butler started in the door business in 1981 in Erie, Pennsylvania. While working for Fenestra Corporation, he acquired a foundational knowledge of the door business. The greatest lessons he has learned through the years have been people-focused. When he dreamed of and started Butler Doors in 1997, he wanted to bring his expertise into the industry to leave a mark where it mattered most. This people-focused philosophy has served Bill and Butler Doors well over the years. Abby Butler is a project manager at the University of North Carolina and also supports various projects at Butler Doors. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Education from Vanderbilt University and boasts expertise in coaching and leadership, project management, facilitation, teaching, and instructional design. Beginning with a thriving team culture, she is passionate about developing systems and structures that lead to greater efficiency, organization, and growth.
