Ophelia Staton is an Artist and Educator with 24 years of classroom teaching experience, and over a decade of experience teaching art journaling workshops for Artists Guilds and Retreats, painting workshops for Community Art Centers and the North Carolina Museum of Art. She offers professional development workshops for educators with a focus on artistic expression for stress relief and self-care. Ophelia provides customized store product demonstrations and speaking engagements for a variety of art programs.  
Ophelia is a self-proclaimed Art Supply Nerd with a passion for art education, learning everything there is to learn about art materials, creative play and experimenting with all the art materials, owning all the art materials, and talking nonstop to anyone that will listen about all of the art supplies she currently is crushing. Every Single Day -  All The Time!!  It is both an annoyance and a passion.   
Ophelia lives in Creedmoor NC with her husband of 30 years settling into the life of empty nesters with two fur kids.  Her son lives in Tampa, and her daughter is as of December 2026 an Alumni of The University of Alabama – Roll Tide.  She will be attending Seminary School in the fall.
